After 3 years of hard work and hurdles, work finally got underway constructing the Pump Track on the 8th April 2024. The track was officially opened by the Council on Saturday 18th May 2024 and the feedback received to date has been amazing.
Of course, this project would not have been possible without the grants we received from our County Councillors (AAP), the Towns and Villages Fund, The National Lottery, the Police and Crime Commissioner and the County Durham Community Foundation or for the hard work by our amazing contractors Four one Four Skateparks, and for this support we say a huge THANK YOU!
The Pump Track is the biggest investment to date from the Parish Council, designed to be used by people of all ages and abilities and we believe it will prove to be a fantastic asset for Station Town.
